About our school

The School
Cherry Tree Primary School is located to the south of Lymm village.  The grounds include a large playground, an extensive field, two football pitches, a gazebo/outside teaching area, a pirate ship, adventure trail and trim trail, an allotment, a quiet area, planted woodland and a wild flower area.

The Teaching Areas
Four of our classes are housed in ‘semi open-plan’ areas and three of our classes are located in closed classrooms. All children come together each day for assemblies and play times.

Teaching Organisation
We have one class per year group. Most of our classes contain 30 children.  The pupils spend much of the time with their own class teacher covering the curriculum through whole class teaching and group work, although they may change teachers for specialist subjects, such as French.
