School Meals

School meals are provided and managed by Warrington Borough Council.

All state funded infant school children (i.e. those in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) receive a free school lunch. Other children can purchase meals for £2.30, but may be entitled to free school meals if their parents/carers are in receipt of certain benefits.

Further information on meals, payments and the latest menu are available to view and download from the schools' section of the Warrington Borough Council website.

If you have any queries regarding the School meals service please contact the School Meals Manager, Pat Lyons - plyons@warrington.gov.uk

FREE SCHOOL MEALS

PACKED LUNCHES & SNACKS
Parents may choose to send their child with a packed lunch. Please note, hot food and drinks, fizzy drinks and glass bottles are not permitted. Cherry Tree is a healthy school - please send healthy snacks with your child.

NUT FREE SCHOOL
We are a nut free school (as several of our students have serious nut allergies) - please do not send any products containing nuts into school.
ALL SCHOOL MEALS AT CHERRY TREE ARE NOW CASHLESS.

From February 2018 all our families need to set up a ParentPay account (even if your child receives free school meals).  This account not only allows you to pay for your children's meals, but will also allow you to monitor which meals your children are selecting on a daily basis. (Obviously if you are in receipt of free school meals you will not need to add credit to your account).

You should have received a letter with a ParentPay login to activate your account. Please ensure you change the password on your account to a secure password for your use.
It is easy to add a ParentPay link onto your smart phone:
If you are unable to operate an online account it is possible to make payments via PayPoint. Click the PayPoint logo below to find out your nearest PayPoint stores.  Please note, the Co-op on Cherry Lane is currently a PayPoint store.
