Parent Forum & Feedback

At Cherry Tree we are keen to listen to the views of our parents. We hold regular Parent Forum meetings and we conduct an annual parent survey (see this year’s survey results below). Parents are also encouraged to feedback directly to Ofsted; below is a link to ‘Parent view’, where you’ll be able to create an account and tell Ofsted what you think of our school.

Parent Forum

The Parent Forum is a meeting where Cherry Tree parents and carers come together in an open discussion about a matter or concerns relevant to the interests of the whole school. All parents and carers that have a child attending Cherry Tree Primary School are automatically a member of our Parent Forum.

The Forum takes place once per term, and to maximise each member’s ability to attend the meeting, it will take place on different days and times each term. Dates will be listed in the school diary on the Parent App.

We would like to encourage you to be involved. This is an opportunity to raise points, praise, concerns or seek clarification and understanding about those matters that, from experience, are not just shared by one carer. Previous actions from the Parent Forum have resulted in changes to morning playground arrangements, transition into Class F, homework and healthy snacks to name a few.

Feedback from one of our parents:
“I’ve found Parent Forum to be such a great way of engaging with school and it’s really brought about positive change in my opinion.”

We are awaiting the appointment of a new Chair of the Parent Forum;

any topics for discussion that you wish to add to the agenda need to be forwarded to Mrs Graham, Thank you.
