Due to Covid-19, formal assessments were not conducted in the summer of 2020, so we were unable to report them in the usual way. Please click on the button below to view our results on the Gov.uk compare school results service.
Since 2014, the programmes of study within the National Curriculum set out the expectations for children at the end of each Key Stage (KS). Schools that follow the National Curriculum are free to develop a curriculum relevant to their pupils that teaches this content. Each school’s curriculum must include an assessment system – that allows it to check what pupils have learned and whether they are on track, to meet expectations at the end of the Key Stage and to report regularly to parents. Each year group has a list of objectives which are entitled ‘age related expectations’, and reporting will allow parents to see whether their child is working towards, has met, or is exceeding the new age related expectations (see Curriculum tab for details).
The reporting terminology is as follows:
Emerging – Working towards age related expectations
Expected – Working at age related expectations
Exceeding – Working beyond age related expectations
