PE & Sport Premium
The PE and Sport Premium provides ring fenced money to primary schools to improve the quality of the PE and sport activities they offer their pupils. The funding is provided jointly by the Department for Education, the Department of Health and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
Schools receive PE and sport premium funding based on the number of pupils in years 1 to 6.
Schools must use the funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport they offer.
We are also delighted to have been awarded the School Games Mark – in recognition of our commitment to the development of competition across the school and into the community. The School Games, which is funded by Sport England National Lottery funding and delivered by the Youth Sport Trust, is a government led programme designed to deliver competitive school sport to all young people.
