PTA

Join Cherry Tree PTA (Parent Teacher Association).  We need parents from every class to join us to help fundraise for our fabulous Cherry Tree Primary School.
It is a great way to meet new people, make a real difference for your children and support our school as it faces more and more funding cuts.

Vital Money for School

Every penny that is raised by the PTA goes straight back to Cherry Tree to benefit your children. In the last three years, the PTA has raised more than £60,000. This has paid for the fantastic running track, special events and visitors to school, reading books and much more. Without the PTA our school would not have any of these things.

Fun Events for Your Kids

Throughout the year the children are invited to loads of events organised by the PTA – PJ and Popcorn Night, Junior Fun Night, the Summer Fair and Breakfast with Santa are just a few. They all love all this fun and without the PTA they wouldn’t be possible.

Have Fun Too

The PTA is a great way to meet other parents and really get involved with the school community. It is great fun and you can help with events and fundraising that suit your skills and the time you have to give.

A committee of staff and parents is elected at the Annual General Meeting in the Autumn term.

All parents are eligible to be elected onto the committee and are welcome to attend the PTA meetings. Everyone is welcome and
