The Governing Board of Cherry Tree Primary School is seeking to appoint a 1:1 TEACHING ASSISTANT who is available to work part time (5 mornings) and would like to join an effective and supportive school staff.

An opportunity has arisen for a caring, patient, and dedicated individual to join our team. The mornings would involve providing 1:1 support for a pupil with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Key Stage 2. This is a fixed-term post, working five mornings per week, to support the child’s learning, engagement, and wellbeing.
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver tailored support, promote independence, and help the pupil access the curriculum in a positive and inclusive environment. The position available is as follows, the times and days are fixed and non-negotiable:
Fixed Term Contract until August 2026 – 18.75 hours per week – Monday to Friday 8:45am to 12:30pm
